I can’t believe that it’s been 3 weeks since my last post – where does the time go?
Cameron is doing really well.
He passed his swimming class and so will move onto the next level (tot 2). We have been going to a drop in playgroup every Tuesday at the Early Years Centre and Cameron is really enjoying it. After they all sit and stare at each other for 10minutes or so they all socialize quite well together. Cameron is one of the older ones and he is the only one who is mobile so he likes it. As for his mobility – he is rolling everywhere…under the bed, under the futon, behind the doors, under chairs anywhere he can get! He continues to do his push ups…We think that he might be up on his knees and crawling soon – thanks to cousin Emily
Today Cameron has started to get up on his knees so we think it won’t be long until he figures out what to do next….
Stewart, Kate and Emily were up for a visit this week (Brett, Cameron, Mum and I are going down to Toronto on Monday) and it was great to see the two cousins together. Emily is crawling all over the place – she doesn’t stay still! She is still her happy smiley self and still as active as ever. Her and Cameron were much more aware of each other this time and were quite funny together.
A few presious moments:
Emily got her revenge for Christmas (Cameron pulling her hair) she made her way over to Cameron and gave him a good slap on the face…He didn’t even react, he’ll be waiting for his chance next time!
Emily and Cameron enjoyed some friendly ’sharing’ with Cameron’s Sophie giraffe (mum has some photos that I will need to post – once I get her camera) It was priceless – needless to say, Emily now has her own Sophie
Cameron spent a great deal of time giggling and laughing at his uncle Stewart…
Cameron also showed his love for his auntie Kate – he copped a feel (touched her bum) twice and then laughed and put his hands over his eyes (his common playing shy move) as if he was embarrassed because he got ‘caught’.
Aunt Carol and Uncle Hugh came over to see the ‘terrors’ on Monday night…It took Cameron most of the night, but he eventually warmed to Uncle Hugh and stopped crying every time Uncle Hugh looked at him…Emily on the other hand…Not sure why…we figured it might have been Uncle Hugh’s deep voice or his hair but, Mum has the same colour (white
) so it couldn’t be that!
They are both doing really well and coming along amazingly.
Will keep you all posted on the crawling situation…until then, enjoy the new photos and videos.
